Hello, I'm Mary Kiragu, Founder and CEO of Healing Aura Resonance Therapy and Wellness Services.
I work with adults navigating challenges that are hard to name out loud: trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and the quiet exhaustion of holding it all together for too long.
I also work with couples navigating communication breakdowns, trust, and distance that’s crept into a relationship. Whatever brought you here, my work is to help you put some of that weight down and find your way back to steady, present-moment living.
Call us Mon-Sat 8AM-10PM.

I started my journey with Healing Aura earlier this year. I was conflicted about whether I was the problem when people left after I had let them in, and I was also carrying the grief of losing my father back in 2016. My experience was smooth and very helpful. I was able to open up easily to my therapist and share things I had never said out loud, without fear of being judged or misunderstood, since she created a secure environment where I could be myself freely. During our sessions, I noticed that after talking out loud about the loss of my dad, my healing started slowly but surely. Now I can say I accept what happened, and that there was nothing I could have done differently for him to still be around. As my therapist says, "Grief is not linear, one day it might be a pebble, but the next day it might be a rock." Through the breathing and sensory techniques I learned, I am now able to regulate and calm my emotions well. If anyone is considering therapy, I can say from my personal experience that it is the best investment and form of self-care that you can do for yourself.

After a difficult breakup, I turned to Healing Aura hoping to find a way through the pain. Even through online sessions, I found a safe space to heal, process my emotions, and slowly rebuild my confidence. The support I received changed the way I viewed myself and my journey. If you're considering therapy, take that first step - you don't have to heal alone.

What brought me to therapy: Regaining personal stability, balance, and peace within as I navigated challenges within marriage and life. My experience: For six sessions, I was able to have a firm affirmation of accepting my emotions, learning how to navigate through them intentionally, and rising above them one step at a time. Changes: Better self-image and emotional regulation. To someone considering therapy: It's worth it. My highlight was naming my situations, especially when facing tough times, which helped me actively address them and have the right approach—hence, better results. I highly recommend it.

I came to therapy because I had a lot going on and wanted help figuring out ways to cope, dealing with high expectations from family members demanding black tax, and struggling with guilt and an inability to set strong boundaries. I had not spoken to my dad for close to a year because of verbal manipulation and other past experiences with him. I was struggling to balance my own needs with black tax and everyone's expectations of me. I was also preparing to go back to school, and I felt that doing so before speaking to a professional would make things harder for me. My experience has been good. I feel positive about saying "no." I am learning to create boundaries and speak up for myself without feeling guilty. I have noticed that I am more comfortable speaking up, and I am now learning to be assertive with my boundaries even when I'm pushed, and that other people's emergencies are not my emergencies. I would encourage anyone considering therapy to take that step, since it could be the best decision of their life. I think most adults need therapy.

When I first started, I had a lot of self-esteem, confidence, and boundary issues. After a few sessions, I now love who I am, and I am already in love with who I strive to be. My therapist listens, is gentle, and has helped me discover strengths in myself that I didn't even know I had. I am able to be vulnerable with her, and every session feels like I am talking to a close friend. The progress has been nothing short of amazing. All I can say is thank you. I would highly recommend her.

I came to therapy during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I was carrying so much grief, heartbreak, and emotional pain, and I was just trying to survive each day. Starting therapy was one of the best decisions I've made. From the very beginning, Mary created a space where I felt safe, heard, and never judged. Mary patiently walked alongside me as I navigated my grief and helped me understand my emotions. Even on the days when I felt like I wasn't making progress, you gently helped me see how far I had come. Because of our work together, I've learned healthier ways to process my emotions, give myself grace, and slowly rebuild my life. I'm stronger than I was when I first started therapy. I now have hope, greater self-awareness, and the confidence that I can face life's challenges with the tools you've helped me develop. To anyone considering therapy: don't be afraid to take that first step. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness; it's one of the bravest things you can do. Therapy gave me a safe place to heal, grow, and rediscover myself, and I will always be grateful for that. Thank you for being such a compassionate, patient, and supportive therapist. You have made a lasting difference in my life, and I will always appreciate the role you've played in my healing journey.
